Yuriy Mikitchenko: Host/Business Development
People tend to think that Yuriy is strictly business. He has been in the media and entertainment industry since 2004 producing content independently and with partners. Yuriy’s passion for media ignited when he first laid his hands on a sound board, which launched him into audio production, mixing and mastering. Audio production led Yuriy into video production and social media quickly followed. His creative passions were trumped by his excitement for business and helping creative minds become successful. Yuriy’s goal is to take creative ideas and turn them into marketable products. Graduating from Oregon State University in 2011 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business with a Finance concentration, Yuriy had been a part of two successful start-ups and had an itch to start his own. PDX Pick came to fruition when he teamed up with his best friends to do something fun while giving back to the artist community.
All business aside, Yuriy is part of PDX Pick because he is passionate about music. He enjoys being around musicians, artists and people passionate about what they do. You’ll find articles that Yuriy writes, which are typically about music and topics that are important to him. When Yuriy is not dwelling about what to do next with PDX Pick, he works on cars, visits friends and family, and goes to Portland brew pubs to taste what’s new on tap in the beer capital of the world.

Other than unveiling the hidden gems of Portland, Brittany enjoys the outdoors, wine, sports, travel and meeting new people.
